Childcare

There will be a childcare room at the course open at certain times of the

day. We will provide toys, games, building blocks, board games, movies,

arts and crafts, and other activities. Feel free to bring any additional toys

you would like to add to the child room. Please make sure any toys and

games you bring are appropriate for children.

Ages: For children 3 and up and completely independent in the bathroom,

we will have 3 volunteers, who are teenagers, and who are children or

friends of sangha members who have volunteered to watch the children in

the childcare room. If it works out that there is a playground close by, they

may take children out there as well – weather dependent.

Donations for the volunteers are appreciated, and should be considered

before the session you and your children are planning to use. (Suggested

donation of $5-10/kid/lecture)

THE BABYSITTERS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHILDREN

UNDER 3 YEARS OLD OR NOT FULLY POTTY TRAINED. CHILDREN

UNDER 3 YEARS OLD OR NOT FULLY POTTY TRAINED CAN USE

THE CHILDCARE ROOM AND TOYS ONLY WHEN SUPERVISED BY

YOU OR OTHER PARENTS WITH WHOM YOU HAVE MADE PRIOR

ARRANGEMENTS.

When: The childcare room and the volunteer teenage babysitters will be

available from 20 minutes before and after each morning (10am) and

afternoon (3pm) lecture session.

There will be no care provided during the evening session.

In order to participate in the babysitting option parents must sign a waiver

releasing liability, which will be provided at the course.
