NOTE: We will be CLOSED on Thursday, JULY 4th for the Independence Day Holiday!

August 1st, 7:30-8:30 ish...(FIRST THURSDAY) we host an OPEN HOUSE for those interested in learning about Buddhist methods and meditation.

This evening will include an in depth introduction to Diamond Way Buddhism, a guided meditation suitable for all experience levels, including a Q&A, refreshments, and social time afterwards.

Learn how we integrate Buddhist methods into our daily lives and how they can help everyone.

This is free event. All are welcome. We look forward to having you here.

Diamond Way Buddhist Center San Francisco belongs to an international non-profit network of over 600 lay Diamond Way Buddhist centers of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Lama Ole Nydahl and under the spiritual guidance of H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje.

Diamond Way Buddhism offers practical and effective methods to realize mind’s inherent richness for the benefit of all. With an accessible and modern style, it works with people’s confidence and desire, using every situation in life to develop fearlessness and joy. We always present a basic introduction for newcomers, and the meditations are guided in English.

Regular Program

Come meditate with us every Thursday at 7:30PM in our beautiful public meditation center. We offer a short introduction to DW meditation practice and will also enjoy a half hour guided meditation that was given by the 16th Karmapa and is used in all Diamond Way Centers worldwide.

No experience is necessary and these evenings are free of charge.
