Yes, you can! This is our national course so we need everyone to make it happen and it is so much fun to work together. Please indicate your wishes and willingness to help out in the comment of your registration.
We will also need help with build-up before and tear-down after the course. May 23 - 28 is the final build-up phase, and June 2 - 3 is the tear-down phase. Participation in these can be noted in your main course registration.
For those who would like to additionally come earlier and/or stay later than those dates, please make arrangements by sending an email to: hrc@diamondway.org
There will be a designated place to park (limited spaces) and to camp - please follow the guidelines of the welcoming team once you get on site. Some cars may need to be parked at a rented lot in town. Such cases will be arranged by the registration team.

Please note that the cabin will be a kid-free space during the course. This includes small children as well as teens. However, there will be a dedicated nursing room. The reason for this is to ensure the HRC gompa remains suitable for meditation at all times and any needed meetings or instruction sessions can take place without hinderance. There will be a dedicated kids tent without internet access. Please plan to supervise and entertain your children at all times. Parents should coordinate amongst themselves as there will be no daycare provided.
Please let us know names and ages of kids in the comment section of your registration. This will be used for planning and to support parents to coordinate childcare in the Childcare tent. For children aged 2-6, the course price is $15 per day. For kids aged 7-18, the course price is $25 per day. In both cases, please note in the comment of your registration form, and pay on site.
You can use this ride-sharing board to organize rides to and from the airport and in the area with friends.
It is good to be informed and follow best practices. Deer ticks are the main concern since they can carry lyme disease. Most do not. It depends whether they have picked it up from another animal. The best ways to avoid contact with ticks is to stay on mowed areas, avoid tall grasses, wear long pants, and use tick spray. Thorough daily checks should be done, including for a few days after having returned home. If is tick is found crawling on you, simply remove it. If an embedded tick is found, simply remove it with a tweezers. Be sure to get the head out. Keep an eye on the site. If a red "bullseye rash" develops, go to the doctor and get tested.
