Course Info
The course is at La Torretta Lake Resort & Spa. It begins Wednesday, November 23rd with a 6 pm dinner followed by a lecture. It ends Sunday, November 27th after lunch. Check out the schedule for more details.
Lunch and Dinner are included in all registration options. You can decide whether you want to pay for breakfast. Snacks will be available, and there will be a restaurant serving breakfast.
Accommodation Options:
- 4 person golf cottage with 2 double beds
- 2 person golf cottage with 1 king bed
- 2 person king suite in the tower with 1 king bed
The tower rooms are more centrally located. The golf cottages are further away from the gompa and dining rooms. It is suggested that you bring a flashlight if you stay in the golf cottages. Check out the rooms on La Torretta's website.
La Torretta is located approximately 45 minutes from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). We will organize a shuttle from the airport on Wednesday and shuttle back to the airport on Sunday. You may also rent a car. Please email Caleb with transportation questions.

When is the early registration deadline?
The early registration deadline is October 15th. Please register and pay in full by the deadline to receive the discount.

Do you have queen beds?
We have no rooms with queen beds available.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
We will tell the venue the food allergies of attendees. Common food allergies can be accommodated like gluten or dairy, but if you have an unusual one let us know and we can confirm with the venue for you.
What is the breakfast option about?
Special to this course is the opt out of breakfast option. We did this because we find a lot of people miss breakfast anyways and grab a cup of coffee on their way to the first lecture. If you are an early riser and need breakfast there is an option on registration to click yes for breakfast.
May I have a private room?
We had a limited amount of private (one person) rooms that are now booked. We are currently reviewing recent requests. There are still plenty of great options to room with others!
I'm coming with a child, will you have childcare?
Childcare services will be offered during lectures. Please contact Misty Cornell for more details. If you have children, please note their ages in the comment box during registration. Also please register your children for meals.
