In 1994 Lama Ole initiated the publication of Buddhism Today in the United States. Buddhism Today is a bi-annual journal published by Diamond Way Buddhist Centers, USA, a California non-profit corporation. It offers teachings by Lama Ole and other prominent teachers of the Karma Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism. A magazine with worldwide distribution, it is published in English, German, Danish, and Spanish.

Buddism Today is available in most Border's Bookstores and Barnes & Nobel Bookstores, as well as in health food stores and independent bookstores across the United States. The American magazine distribution is 13,000.
