Diamond Way Retreat Center Project:

Dakini Ranch

Dakini Ranch is nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. At an altitude of over 9,000ft (2,700 M), the views across the San Luis Valley to the 14,000 ft (4,300 M) Sangre De Cristo Mountains are, sometimes literally, breathtaking. With 314 acres (127 hectares), Dakini Ranch is currently the largest Diamond Way Buddhist retreat center worldwide. It is an endless source of inspiration; a place where friends meet to deepen their meditation practice without the distractions of modern life.

As a Diamond Way Buddhist retreat center, Dakini Ranch is part of an international network of roughly 700 lay meditation centers and groups within the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The main teacher is Lama Ole Nydahl. The lineage holder of the Karma Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism, to which Dakini Ranch belongs, is the 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje.

As in all Diamond Way centers, individual work and donations are given voluntarily and out of personal surplus.
