A unique opportunity to learn about the liberating wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism from a great lama. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session where you can ask any questions. We will close the evening with a short meditation. All are welcome.

Lama Ole Nydahl is one of the few Westerners fully qualified as a lama and meditation teacher in the Karma Kagyu Buddhist tradition. In 1969, Ole Nydahl and his late wife Hannah became the first Western students of H.H. the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa. After completing several years of Buddhist philosophy studies and intensive meditation training—including the transmission for a unique Buddhist practice called Conscious Dying (in Tibetan, "Phowa"). Ole Nydahl brought Buddhism to the West at the request of the 16th Karmapa. Lama Ole has since founded over 600 centers in 44 countries, establishing the largest body of lay Buddhist practitioners in the west. His depth of knowledge and dynamic teachings inspire thousands of people to live for others and to die without fear.

The suggested dontation for the lecture is $15.
