Diamond Way Retreat Center Project:

The Heartland Retreat Center

The Heartland Retreat Center is an inspiring place of natural beauty where Diamond Way practitioners meet to deepen their Buddhist meditation practice. The center hosts meditation courses, personal retreats, and gatherings of friends.

Through these activities, the Heartland Retreat Center preserves the authentic teachings and practices of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism.

The center is part of an international non-profit network of over 600 lay meditation centers within the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The centers were founded by Lama Ole Nydahl according to the wish of H.H. 16th Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje. They are today under the spiritual authority of H.H. 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje.

Throughout the year we have programs which include teachings from students of Lama Ole Nydahl who he has asked to teach in Diamond Way Buddhist Centers around the world.

See our events schedule and email us at hrc@diamondway.org for details.
