Diamond Way Buddhist Center: Chicago offers practical and effective methods to realize mind’s inherent richness. The center makes the authentic Buddhist teachings of the Tibetan Kagyu lineage accessible to modern Westerners. Working with confidence and desire, practitioners use every situation in life to develop fearlessness, joy and kindness.
Our centers consist of people and families working full-time jobs, and incorporating Diamond Way teachings and meditations into their daily lives. Members share responsibility for guiding meditations, answering questions, and giving explanations about Buddhism; their work is unpaid, and based on idealism and friendship.
Meditations are guided in English and newcomers are always welcome.
