The Diamond Way Buddhist Center in Calgary
is one of more than 400 meditation centers
worldwide in the Karma
Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
Founded and directed by Lama Ole Nydahl according to the wishes of H.H. the 16th Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, these centers are now under the spiritual guidance of H.H. the 17th Karmapa Trinlay Thaye Dorje.
There are currently 33 Diamond Way Buddhist Centers across North America, with 5 located in Canada. Traveling teachers visit our centers frequently and meditation courses are offered regionally, nationally and internationally throughout the year.
Diamond Way centers and teachers make authentic Vajrayana Buddhist teachings accessible to ordinary people who wish to integrate the practical wisdom of meditation into their daily lives.
